About Me: 

I was born in Kalamazoo, Michigan and raised in Henderson, NV from the age of 3 years. Back then, Henderson was known as "Hendertucky" it was so small and rural. Definetely not the thriving metropolis it is today. After High School Graduation I attended UNLV for 2 years and then went North to UNR (University of Nevada, Reno) to finish my BS in Business Administration with a Marketing minor. Reno is where I fell in love with the mountains, the changing of the seasons and learned the joys and frustrations of Snow. 

After college I pursued my passion for Weddings and worked with a local Wedding Planning Company where I planned and executed weddings of all shapes, sizes and budgets. I also became a Florist by trade, specializing in Wedding Flowers. I worked as a planner for 3 years when I met my husband and move from Reno to Tahoe City. There I continued my Wedding Planner Position at a beautiful Restaurant/Hotel called West Shore Cafe. 

Once my husband and I decided to get serious about starting a family I left Wedding Planning and became a Concierge at The Resort at Squaw Creek followed by becoming Concierge Mananger at Tahoe Luxury Properties. After moving to Truckee and having my Son I decided I needed a change. I was given the opportunity of working for a Real Estate Agent where I was an assistant for RE/MAX North Sierra. After 3 years in Real Estate I decided to change gears yet again and assist my Husband with his rapidly growing/expanding Fly Fishing business, Matt Heron Fly Fishing. We recently welcomed another Son in February 2018 and prior to his arrival I had the opportunity to become Booking Manager for Sierra Sitters whom I had worked very closely with during my Concierge days. 

As the Booking Manager for Sierra Sitters, I look forward to providing safe and fun childcare for your family, while you get to experiance all that Tahoe has to offer!
